Description
Vactrol Based Audio Envelope Follower
An audio envelope follower based on a 5C3 Vactrol. Useful for auto-wah (send its output to a bandpass audio filter) and/or compressor (send its output to a VCA).
Eurorack format--6HP. Uses +/- 12V at about 20mA per rail.
The buffered Vactrol based design gives you a slightly slow response but to my ears it has a musical quality.
