ADA4857 Amplifyer
The duel ADA4857 based amplifyer is built to take the 12-13v power rail commonly found inside VCRs.
Deployment of amplifyers requires matching your impedence of your amplifyer, direct head amp taps are ideal for most VCRs in this case, then simply copy the resistance values in the path of your HiFi & Video RF signal paths.
Checklist:
- Multimeater to inspect VCRs voltages
- Soldering iron (Bevel/Chisel tips)
- Solder Paste & or Flux + 60/40 Solder
- 22AGW Cable
- 0805 1% Resistor Parts Book
Optional:
- 12v battery (not critical but can allow you to verify if your deck has high noise from its power supply.
- A Digital Store Ossiliscopoe (DHO804 or more affordable equivlent messuremnt tools equiped scope)
Adjust Resistors
Then adjust the input resistance vlaues
R13 & R14 - Path A
R23 & R14 - Path B
And adjust the gain level
Path A
Rf = R14
Rin = R13
Path B
Rf = R24
Rin = R23
