Arduino Nanuno (Surface Mount version)
This is Arduino Nanuno, Using this you can use any type of shield that is compatible with Arduino Uno. Then you are having an Arduino Uno without buying it!
Why I made this?
Because if you have Arduino Nano already and want to have an Uno you can easily convert it using this.
Solder the components as shown in the picture. (also solder the Nano female pin headers, power jack[PWR], and Push-button[KEY1].)
How this Works,
When you connect the Nano to the female headers, all Digital and Analog pins are connected to the Uno section just like how a Microcontroller connects to the Uno. That means Nano becomes the brain of the board, Nanuno. You can program the Nano as an Arduino Nano in the IDE and upload it via the mini USB port. And it is roughly the size of an Arduino Mega.
It's just a normal working Arduino Uno(except for those extra Analog pins)
I have designed all the classic Arduino Uno pins exactly aligned with the real one. So this enables you to put any type of Uno shield on this and run it using your Arduino Nano. And I even put a power jack so it's very easy to supply power to this. The power that is received will automatically go to the Nano pin "Vin" and it will regulate it to 5V and 3.3V. I think that this will help you to do more things with shields and stuff.
It got holes in where the Classic Uno has holes in order to secure the board in place. And we provide extra holes in the Nano section.
To be Noted,
ADNON LED light-up means that it gets power from Arduino Nanuno's pins or a shield or the Mini-USB port.
PWRON LED light-up means the board gets power from the power jack.
