Hello,
This is a tested and working project.
This is an Easy DIY project, all components are through hole, marked on the PCB, Easy to solder, Easy to make ;)
With this project, you can do almost everything you can do with a complete Commodore 64 computer Kit. C64 + disk drive + data tape cassette player + many cartridges... can be emulated.
Other than this, you need:
1) A Raspberry Pi compatible with the BMC64 project
2) A Micro SD Card (4MB is more than enough)
3) An adapter suitable for your Raspberry Pi model
4) HDMI television connection cable suitable for your Raspberry Pi model
5) 9-Pin Commodore64 compatible joystick for gaming. (better if there are two)
BMC64 is a bare metal fork of VICE's C64 emulator optimized for the Raspberry Pi. It has 50hz/60hz smooth scrolling, low video/audio latency and a number of other features that make it perfect for building your own C64 replica machine. For more details visit the github link below.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Download the 20MB Zip file from the bottom of this page.
Format SD-Card Fat32
Unzip the BMC64SDCARD.zip and copy the files into the SD-CARD
Insert SD Card into Raspberry Pi
Connect the cables,( Last cable should be power source cable)
Press Commodore key and F7 key together and release to enter BMC64 MENU
You can use this faceplate PCB for C64 USB KEYBOARD

2pcs. right angle DB9M 9 pin D-sub male connector.
2x20 pin double row 2.54 pitch female header
66pcs. 6x6x7mm 4-pin through hole tactile buttons (7mm when using 1.6mm faceplate PCB)
470ohm - 1K 1/4watt RESISTANCE (value changes LEDs brightness)
6pcs. screws and nuts. Fixing screw holes 3mm in diameter. (If using faceplate PCB)
Gerber files can be changed at any time. Before paying for the PCBs, be sure to update your orders!

There are many Amiga Emulators. Amibian, Amiberry or PiMiga (https://retrogamecoders.com/raspberry-pi-amiga-emulation/). PiMiga is booting directly the Emulator and loads the Amiga-Workbench in about 30 seconds. What it needs, is an PCB with a keyboard with 96 keys and support for this via GPIO and of course the 2 Joystickports. Mouse could be connected to the PI-USB.

Yes. The value of the resistor may vary depending on the voltage and current values required by the LED used. Low value resistors cause the LED to glow brighter.

Hello John. Thank you very much. When made with LCD and larger PCB, the cost increases significantly. My goal that I want to achieve is; The aim was to realize a concept similar to the ordinary Commodore64 with an inexpensive design, connect it to your big screen modern HDMI television at home, connect the joysticks just like you played it years ago, and experience the feeling of nostalgia. I'm not currently thinking of making a design with an LCD screen. Thanks for asking.
