Description

Protoboard with MCP1700/LM78xx regulator

I designed a prototyping board / perfboard that includes some of the components I've found myself using quite often. That includes DC-jack, either MCP1700 series SOT23 regulator or LM78xx-series regulator and one SO8 package footprint for misc SMD IC.

Two columns next to the regulators are for VCC (regulator output) and ground. These columns have been labeled in the front layer silkscreen. The VCC pads are connected only on one side of the board, making it easier to cut a trace to divide the column in two or more sections.
