This is my new stairlight with RGB-LEDs. Motion-Sensor on top and bottom of the stairs to autoswitch on and off.

The code recognizes movement direction and use the pir on the opposit side to switch off after short delay.

This Project is made for Home Assistant, but you can write your own code for NodeMCU as well.

PIN-Usage:

D1: Status-LED PIR top

D2: Status-LED PIR down

D5: PIR bottom

D6: RGB-LED

D7: PIR top

D8: Status-LED lightlevel

(In v1.0 the bottom PIR was on D8. This causes the esp not to boot up. So I switched the Pins D5 and D8. If you have the v1.0 use RX or another free Data-Pin for PIR)

v1.2 fixes the missing GND connection of the RGB-LED connector
