  • Hi(rlequin)!) I've just 2 simpliest questions. First - where to get the ROM.bin for this PCB ver? Cannot find it on https://github.com/DonSuperfo/Timex-Harlequin-2048 ((( Cannot find it on http://www.zxdesign.info/harlequin.shtml and http://www.zxdesign.info/software/ (Am I thick as a brick?)) Second - how to extend RAM and ROM size for this particular PCB (if possible)? May I use https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/ZX_Spectrum_Harlequin_Paged_ROM_1d16925b.html or it is different?

    Hi, I just upload ROM file to github, TC2048 and TC2068. If you use TC2048 you don't need to install SW2 or you can program TC2048 for both half of 27C256 and set SW2 to VCC. If you use TC2068, set SW2 to BANK. Yesm you can that project to extend ROM size and need to set SW2 to VCC

    Many thanks! Can I use one W24512AK-15 chip to replace two 62256 (taking A15 somewhere outside the RAM panels)? Or it is bad idea because a too low latency? )

    You can replace U3 with W24512AK-15, A15 connect to GND or5V, but cannot use for U8 (you can try, sometime it work).
