nano swinSID for Commodore 64 C64 my vision
This is my vision of a sound chip emulator for Commodore. The project is based on: http://www.tolaemon.com/nss/.
The changes I've made are:
- transfer of SMD passive elements to the bottom of the board
- use at the top of the angle connector for jumpers
- adding an LED at the top
The lower and upper led are not necessary. You can mount either the top or bottom diode or you do not need to mount any.
If you do not mount the bottom diode, you do not need to install a R6 resistor.
If you do not mount the top diode, you do not need to install the R7 resistor.
The BOM file contains a list of components that you can purchase at TME.EU
ATTENTION !!!
This board has not been tested yet. However, everything is made according to the design scheme and should work properly.

You probably already checked. But don't you have solder bridges Are all orientations correct? Do you have an active oscillator and 5 volts?
it doesn't work for me too. Identical problem
Im still waiting for the oscillators, if they are arrived i let you know my experience.
Maybe the oscillator is the wrong type? Please have a look at mine in the pictures above. I bought them here https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002443103869.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.24f14c4dWJtklK
oscillators arrived, i have the same problem, i ordered these (5v): https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/32879694712.html?spm=a2g0o.9042311.0.0.27424c4d1gD4BZ
Just checking if the right firmware is loaded, i used this one: http://www.tolaemon.com/nss/imag/SwinSID88_20120524.zip
I build a second one (8 to go) and that works fine, so maybe it is an faulty crystal or atmega, whe i have time i will swap part, the i let you know
I will try to change mine crystal to other one or build new too and I will check it.
