3D-Printed Camera Mount
This 3D-printed magnetic camera mount can accommodate clamp arms with its central stud, or it can use a 1/4 - 20 nut and set screw to attach cameras, ball heads, or other equipment directly. 12 magnets are arranged in a circular pattern around the base, allowing it to clamp to shop equipment like vises, toolboxes, or milling machines.
The device was prototyped on an FDM machine, then made in clear resin by PCBWay, which looks phenomenal. Print files are available here if you would like to make your own. Disk magnets used are 12mm diameter x 3mm thick. As seen in the video, it will hold a camera steady, however, if it is offset too far the magnets can loose their grip.
