Compy 2600 - Atari 2600 Composite Mod (NTSC)
Encountered a rather poorly done composite mod in an Atari 2600 (NTSC) and decided the best way to clean it up was with a custom PCB!
Original RF Modulator can is completely removed and the right angle header plugs in where that was before. An audio fly out pad is provided to connect audio at the recommended point indicated by red dot in one of the photos. I'm assuming you can tap either component on that end as those two legs are shorted together on my board. (In case you're confused by the extra resistor in my image, that is just 2 150ohm in place of the single 75ohm I didn't happen to have around.)
As with any do-it-yourself modifications like this please double check all parts, schematic and hookups before getting started.
Updated Jan 11, 2021 - Changed transistor pad to something more forgiving.
