The PCB Guitar
This is a PCB inspired by one of coolest guitars of rock 'n' roll: Zakk Wylde's Les Paul Custom.
The board is designed to have seven push buttons that will emit notes through a buzzer, all programmed through an Arduino Nano that goes stacked behind the PCB.
It's an ongoing project... I intend to replace the buzzer with a jack output and maybe connect it to a Marshall mini amplifier! It would be awesome! I still don't know what the result will be... but it's something I really want to try! :)
To assemble the PCB as the project currently stands, it just needs:
- 7x 12mm push buttons with colored caps;
- 1x SparkFun buzzer (12mm);
- female headers for Arduino Nano.
I made the shape of the PCB with Inkscape and the arrangement of the parts with Fritzing. The board is designed to be made in black color with white silkscreen, to be more similar to the one that inspired me.
