How can we help?

Wall thickness requirements for transparent materials

Since fully transparent materials require sanding, varnishing, and other post-processing steps to achieve complete transparency, these steps may result in parts becoming broken or deformed. To minimize this risk and ensure the integrity of the final product, we recommend a wall thickness of at least 0.8 mm. This thickness provides the necessary durability to withstand the post-processing required to achieve full transparency.

If you choose a transparent material and we determine that your specified wall thickness is insufficient, we will promptly contact you to discuss the best course of action. You will have the option to either increase the wall thickness to meet our recommended minimum or proceed with the existing design, understanding and accepting the risk of potential breakage or deformation during the post-processing steps. This approach ensures that you are fully informed and can make the best decision for your specific needs and project requirements.
